PMI establishes Project Management standards, provides seminars, educational programs, and professional certification programs that are desired and utilized by a growing number of organizations and project leaders.

About PMI Tallahassee

The PMI Tallahassee Chapter was founded in 2002 to support the vision of PMI and to promote the discipline of project management to our membership, government, and businesses in the Big Bend/Panhandle areas of North Florida. Our vision is to foster an environment of sharing experiences and continued education for the project management discipline through scheduling, promoting, and facilitating engagements for the local community by:

  1. Creating an environment and opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, professionalism, and application of project management;
  2. Promoting and enabling corporate, community, and educational networking opportunities;
  3. Partnering with business and government to unleash the power of project management; and
  4. Attracting, developing, and retaining leadership to ensure the future of the PMI and the local Chapter.

Membership has more than tripled during our first year to 208 including over 300 Chapter contacts. The Chapter meets the first Monday of every other month February, April, June, August, October, and December.

We value our Sponsors, and provide valuable feedback for print and web advertisers.
