Effort is underway to establish a PMI chapter in Tallahassee to support the use of best practices in the area of project management. Having a local PMI chapter established would provide the opportunity to network with other members and have a forum for open exchange towards the advancement of professional project management. The type of services a local chapter could provide:

   Monthly chapter meetings,
   Training for Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM),
   Training for Project Management Professional (PMP) certification,
   Professional Development Units (PDU) to retain certification,

What is needed to officially establish the PMI Tallahassee Chapter is for 25 PMI members to agree to join. Please, if you are a member of PMI and are interested kindly reply.  If you need to join PMI go to: <http://www.pmi.org > then select "Membership".
