NEW DINNER ARRANGEMENT
There is a new format for the Meeting's dinner. Dinners will be served to the table by University Club Staff instead of via buffet.  The long buffet line that has characterized our meetings will no longer be present. The Board elected to give the table service approach a try to help us ensure high quality meals, recoup the time wasted waiting in the buffet line, and to keep our costs in line for all.  While the plated and served dinner format should bring significant benefits, we will need to manage some changes noted below:

Plated meals will limit our ability to accommodate walk-ins who did not pre-register. With a buffet, there is considerable uncertainty and flexibility with respect to the quantity of food the University Club produces. With the new plated meals, the Club will only have the capability to handle a 5% increase above our guaranteed registrations. Since our attendance lately has been typically around 65 people, that 5% translates to only about 3 additional walk-ins that can easily be serviced.

Acteva registration will end at noon on the Thursday before the dinner meeting so that we can provide the guaranteed head count to the club. This earlier registration deadline is due to the contractual requirements.

Please note this earlier registration deadline and register as early as possible!
