Our Special Guest:
Topic: Plus: Annual Business Meeting / Election of Officers
University Center Club Ballroom Third Floor, University Center, Building B, Florida State University 5:30 pm ― 6:15 pm Gathering Time (cash bar open) 6:15 pm ― 9:00 pm Dinner and Program
Success in life, business or projects is not based merely upon what we know, but on correctly applying the knowledge we have. The primary reason projects succeed is good communication. People are the most important project resources. There is a gold mine of basic, common sense people-skills that we should put into practice in our day-to-day project management activities. This presentation engages participants to examine some of the time-tested and proven project management nuggets. We will discuss
the following foundations of project success: Dr. Amanfu has 33 years experience in the IT industry. He has worked in leadership positions in Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra-Leone, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Thailand and the USA. He is the current VP of Professional Development of the Tallahassee Chapter of PMI. Joe is certified by Boston University to teach in their Management Development Programs. He is a part-time instructor with the Advanced Computer Education Centers at SMU (Southern Methodist University) in Plano, Texas. His greatest passion is in the human side of project management. Dr. Amanfu has spoken at several PMI events.
The Meeting Fee includes Dinner and the Program. We do not offer a "Program Only" fee.
Registration is now CLOSED. Registration is handled securely via our registration partner, Acteva. Advance reservations are required, so that we and the venue may plan for a specific number of dinner guests. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Full refunds will be granted if requested before the registration deadline; no refunds after the deadline. We do allow substitutions at any time (even at the door) at no additional cost.
