Another fine turnout for another great meeting!  Seventy-five people were in attendance at the University Center Club Ballroom.

After a time of gathering, we enjoyed the fine dinner buffet.

Following dinner, our Founder and President, Beth Anne Posey, called the program to order.

Charter members were recognized by Bebe Smith, Vice President Membership.  PMI provided a certificate to these charter members.

Karen Scott, Vice President Professional Development, provided a report on our recent PMBOK Review training (details here).

Our meeting sponsor, Infinity Software Development, Inc., provided a brief overview of their contributions to IT.

The main even was the presentation from Greg Balestrero.   Greg discussed the importance of project management today, and the incredible growth of the application of the discipline and PMI as its' professional orgainzation. 

Greg reminded us of just how precious is our right to associate as we wish ― a right not shared fully by all of the world.  He talked about the challenges of establishing PMI chapters in other countries, but also pointed out the considerable growth in PMI membership around the world.

Greg also reviewed PMI's strategic vision for the future:
          Worldwide, organizations will embrace, value, and utilize project management and attribute their success to it.
