Ruth Elswick, PMP will offer advice on taking the first, often forgotten, steps of managing projects – working with project stakeholders. All stakeholders, including team members, are tuned into the WIIFM radio station ― better known as: What’s in it for me? The sage project manager recognizes the importance of fine-tuning the WIIFM’s very early in a project. Based on years of experience, Ms. Elswick takes an-often humorous, but practical, approach to successfully communicating with various stakeholders. Ruth Elswick, PMP is a
Senior Instructor with PD Solutions.
In nearly two decades spent in project management, she has worked
intensively with staff and consulted with executives of several major
corporations such as IBM, Motorola, GTE, Shell Oil, SAP, and AT&T.
Ms. Elswick has
managed several projects varying in size from a few hundred dollars to
multi-million dollar global projects.
She has also been involved in a wide variety of training activities
all over the world. She has
taught courses, written courseware, and acted as an instructor mentor.
Ms. Elswick specializes in risk management, project selection, and team
communications.
The Meeting Fee includes Dinner and the Program. We do not offer a "Program Only" fee.

If you registered or pre-registered, but did not pay online, please remember that we will need to collect your meeting fee at the door (check, cash, major credit card accepted). IMPORTANT: Please remember that we must collect for all registrations, regardless of attendance, as we will have already committed to pay the venue for each person who has registered. We begin the evening with Gathering Time... A time to unwind and get to know one another. We encourage you to arrive early and meet the Chapter Officers and our speaker. A Cash Bar will be available during the Gathering Time.

The University Center Club is located at Florida State University, in
Building B of the University Center in the south end zone of Doak
Campbell Stadium.
The entrance to Building B is located on Champions Way between
gates G and F of the stadium.
You may turn onto Champions Way via Pensacola Street or Hendry
Street.
The entrance to visitors Parking is by the blue booth halfway between
Buildings B and C.
